The Next Addiction

The next thing I remember fixing was when my parents bought a house
when I was about 15. All of the eletrical outlets and light switches
were that ugly off white color.
Well, my mom hated it so they bought like 40 white switches and
outlets and had a friend of theirs come over and switch them out.
Well naturally I was interested since it had wires. He showed me what
the black, white and green wires were for.
I must've caught on quick because the lazy prick stopped and let me
finish off the last half.
I loved it. The thrill of possibly being shocked by 120 volts and
accomplishing something most people are afraid to do.

So I added this new trait to my already growing list. By now AOL was
huge and windows 95 had been released.
I was very fluent in DOS (see first blog) and windows 3.11. Microsoft
Works was the thing to use for all of your needs.
Chat rooms were my life at night.
I talked my dad into getting the biggest package from AOL and showed
him how to use it for his business.

Next time .... Building my first computer!!
